We are a women’s fashion and lifestyle brand with a modern laidback sense of style, an easy-going attitude, and a positive outlook on life. Lemon Tree Design was founded in 2013 by Sue Burton, a 3rd generation designer from Newcastle, England. Sue has an immense background in fashion from constructing garments in her parents' factory, designing and educating students of New Castle College to then working for well-known fashion brands such as Laura Ashley and Ted Baker.

Upon moving to New Zealand and learning about the NZ fashion industry, Sue realised the immense difference in garment cost, quality, and value. Driven by passion and the need to provide kiwi women with timeless, high quality fashion at affordable prices, Lemon Tree Design was founded.
